When Halloween is finally over and Christmas carols start singing throughout the country, you can see them.
They take out their laptop, they polish their pens and they lock themselves away from any other life form.
Or at least that’s their plan.
Then grandma comes with cookies, the children start a mud-war in courtyard and for some inexplicable reason the house has never look so dirty.
These are the NaNoWriters.
This year, however, I probably won’t be one of them. I might pick up all the usual behaviours, but there’s no novel this month.
I know, sad face. 😦
That’s not so tragic, though.
I said there’s no novel, which doesn’t mean there’s no writing!
In fact, I have been busy in the last few month in something a bit different. Something I have never done before, but that I am quite enjoying:
I AM WRITING A SCREENPLAY
It’s not for theatre and it’s not a film. It’s a Sit-Com.
To be sure, I have no idea if this has any future at all, but you know what? I am having so much fun writing it!
So, whether it’s NaNoWriMo or not, let’s keep up the words!
