Happy Bookish Halloween!!!

So, Halloween is here… and I’d like to leave you with a few of my favourite scary friends…

No, not them…

‘It’ by Stephen King

Because who isn’t scared of clowns, since It came along?

But maybe that’s a long tale to tell in one night.

‘Smoke and Mirrors’ by Neil Gaiman

Here you have plenty of tales of the grotesque and horror… esque? Some more scary than others, but always an awesome read.

‘Frankenstein’ by Mary Shelley

Lest we forget that the first science-fiction novel was also a fairly frightening tale.

‘1408’ by Stephen King

The King of Horror again, for a most terrifying hotel story.

‘The Haunting of Hill House’ by Shirley Jackson

One of the scariest stories I have ever read. Also, a compelling and brilliant tale.

‘The Girl who loved Tom Gordon’ by Stephen King

I know, the King is over-represented in this list, but this book really scared me out of my wits! Check it out!

Now that you’re all sorted, I better go and put on my costume… See y’all!
